How to play:Move the character safely through an area while staying away from danger as much as possible. If the character catches on fire, the player can put it out by making the character stop, drop and roll. The player can also power up the character to increase their speed. Each playable character can fight with their fists, crouch, run, dive, take cover behind objects and use a wide range of weapons, including knives, guns, rifles and grenades. Players can use many different techniques to advance their character through a mode. They also feature deadly obstacles, including bot fighters, explosives and acid. All modes feature classic platformer features, such as dark environments, stationary and floating platforms, crates, elevators and ladders. In Stage Mode, for example, the player faces increasingly powerful enemies and obstacles in new stages.
The player can select one of three different modes as a single player or while playing against another person: Vs Mode, Stage Mode and Survival. Superfighters, a fighting platformer with retro 2D graphics, features a group of men known as the original Superfighters bashing, stabbing, shooting, burning and blowing up each other in urban cityscape environments.Ī player's only objective is to complete each level without being killed by an opponent.
